FREMONT — A three-alarm fire damaged more than three dozen units at a storage facility Friday night, according to Fremont fire officials.
The Fremont Fire Department received a call at 8:35 p.m. reporting a fire at the one-story Fremont Mini Storage, in the 45000 block of Industrial Drive, Division Chief Diane Hendry said.
Initially, flames engulfed eight units then spread to 10 more, Hendry said. An additional 20 or so units received smoke damage. Firefighters were able to extinguish the blaze in about an hour, she said.
