Antonelli Pond walkers sought
The Land Trust of Santa Cruz County is seeking community members to join its “pond volunteer team” to routinely walk its Antonelli Pond, doing light maintenance and reporting conditions.
Volunteers at Pacific Colligate School and dedicated neighbors have been keeping Land Trust Access Coordinator Ginger Wojciechowski up-to-date on conditions using an online smartphone form. The reports enabled Wojciechowski to track conditions at the pond and respond quickly to situations that warrant it, such as vandalism.
Interested volunteers can reach Wojciechowski at email@example.com.
