Two tiny bull terrier mixes are ready to leave shelter life behind

Gretchen and Gwen didn’t come to the West Valley Animal Shelter together, but in the two weeks they have been in the same kennel, the two bull terrier mixes have become fast friends.

It’s more a testament to each dog’s overall friendliness that they get along so well. If you want to adopt two dogs, these two girls would make the perfect pair. But they’re so personable, either Gretchen (ID # A1702064) or Gwen (ID # A1701658) would make a great addition to any dog-loving family.

Gretchen is just 8 months old and can be a little nervous at first. At 14 pounds, this bull terrier-Chihuahua mix is definitely lap-sized. Once she gets to know you, she’s more than ready to play first and snuggle right after that.

Gwen is a year old and is fully grown at 13 pounds. She’s a bull terrier-Jack Russell terrier mix with wiry hair.

Come meet these two pups at the West Valley Animal Shelter, 20655 Plummer St. Chatsworth. Adopt one — or two. The choice is yours.
