Rabbit Haven adoption set for Sunday in Soquel

SOQUEL >> The Rabbit Haven will celebrate the Memorial Day weekend with an adoption event from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday at Pet Pals, 3660 Soquel Drive.

“These charming, delicate and sensitive animals are such a joy,” said Rabbit Haven Founder and Director Heather Bechtel in a press release. “We hope that you will decide to adopt and add a beautiful rabbit to your family.”

The haven was founded in 1987 according to its website. It rescues abandoned rabbits and accepts surrendered rabbits from the public,

Those adopting a rabbit receive:

• Education about how to raise and care for a rabbit.

• A free veterinary exam for the adopted rabbit.

• A personal shopper to assist in selecting rabbit products.

• Discount coupons to help save money on pet supplies.

• A complimentary home health check demonstration, nail trim and scent gland cleaning for the newly adopted bunny.

• A year complimentary membership in The Rabbit Haven.
