Water main break damages car windows in LA's Mid City

ARLINGTON HEIGHTS — A water main ruptured early today in Arlington Heights, producing a powerful geyser that damage several car windows, according to reports from the neighborhood near L.A.’s Mid City.

The break was reported around 1:50 a.m. in the 1600 block of South Bronson Avenue, the Los Angeles Department of Water and Power reported.

Bronson Avenue remained closed even after the water was shut off. It caused a large hole in the street, according to reports from the scene.
