Mel B’s former nanny isn’t happy that the former Spice Girl claimed she slept with her estranged husband Stephen Belafonte and got pregnant by him.
So, the ex-nanny, Lorraine Giles, is planning to file a lawsuit against the singer, alleging defamation, TMZ is reporting.
Mel B, whose real name is Melanie Brown, recently claimed she endured years of abuse at the hands of Bellafonte, saying he routinely beat her any time she achieved success and sexually exploited her. The former girl band member and “America’s Got Talent” judge recently filed for divorce from Belafonte, whom she married in 2007 and with whom she had one of her three children.
TMZ said that Gilles’ planned lawsuit centers on declarations Mel B filed in court in order to receive a temporary restraining order against Belafonte.
In the documents, Mel B claimed Belafonte and Lorraine Gilles told her they had an affair and that Lorraine was pregnant with his child. Mel B also claimed Gilles had an abortion.
Mel B goes on to accuse Gilles and Belafonte of pilfering money from her. She also claims that Gilles has control of sex tapes she is featured in. She alleges that Belafonte would threaten to release those tapes if she wouldn’t have sex with him and other women.
Gilles is basically saying that those allegations are a pack of lies. She apparently has numerous exhibits and photos that she believes will convince a jury that Mel B has falsified claims against her.
