Los Angeles will welcome 2017 with a bang during its largest public New Year’s Eve party at Grand Park.
The 4th Annual N.Y.E.L.A., hosted by the Music Center, is expected to draw more than 50,000 revelers to the downtown park for live music, dancing, food and a spectacular 3-D light show countdown to midnight.
The alcohol-free family event will span 90 acres from the Music Center to City Hall, from Hope to Spring streets and Temple to 2nd streets. N.Y.E.L.A. festivities begin at 8 p.m. tonight and end at 1 a.m. Sunday.
It will feature some of the city’s top D.J.s and bands, according to its promoters, from Latin, funk, soul, hip-hop, disco and global from three sound stages. Attractions include dancing, inflatable sculptures, two dozen food vendors, photo booths and more.
